Imagine this situation if you will. You go out with friends on a Saturday night, and you spend a lot of money partying hard and having a good time. The next morning you meet up with your dad for lunch, and you are a bit hung-over. Your dad asks you what you did last nights, so you tell him that you went out partying, then asks you how much you spent, and you give him a ballpark figure – and this is where the annoying part begins.

He starts telling you that you are reckless with money and that back in his day he would go out and have a good time all for $20. Normally you would let it slide and just nod as you drank your coffee.
